BQ24616 charging current issue

Hi,

In our charger board, we use BQ24616. The input is 19V, We use 16.8V Li-Ion pack.

We have 10K thermistor and connected 2.2K and 6.8K biasing resistor to it and connected to TS pin

Some charge cycles we see different behaviours. I am attaching few of them. we have set charge current to 1A. we see sudden dip in current to half or 1/3. it is not following CC, CV and termination.

Kindly advice if it is specific to the board or is it anything to do with the design.

Charging current could change if the voltage on the TS pin changes due to temperature changes. See fig 16 of the datasheet for the JEITA charging profile. Is the temperature constant (i.e., is the TS pin voltage constant) in your testing?

If possible, could you share your battery charger schematic?
