bq40z50 Ra table values changed?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ40Z50, BQSTUDIO

I screwed up the first Gold file somehow, so after correcting some settings, I tried the process again. I was surprised when I was checking the exported .gg.csv file that in the Ra tables, the flags for the three cells had changed from 0x0055 to 0xff55!

Is this what happens when the pack is unattached to anything for quite some time (5 days at least), i.e. no appreciable discharge or charge occurring?

The gauge does not change the Ra table headers back to FF55 or FFFF. Are the Ra table values the learned values or are they the default values? The process for creating the golden file is to load the srec, load the ChemID and then load the golden gg file.

  • I think I know what happened: I had the learned values in a .gg.csv file (with the 0055 Ra headers), but I didn't realize that Importing downloads the data to bqStudio, not the bq40z50 (which is why Write_All must be pressed afterwards!).

    It's working now.
