5 Segment LCD Glass Part Numbers for BQ Gas Gauges

Hello,

Several of the BQ range of Controllers and Gas Gauges support 5 segment LED / LCD displays to indicate battery capacity. I have been unable to source a suitble small 5 segment LCD display or identify any manufacturers of these parts. Can anyone advise if any commercial sources of the 5 segment LCD glass displays exist or if they are only made to order.

The LCD displays that we have dealt with have been custom panels. We will check to see if we can find an off the shelf one.

I have the same query. Is there any part no. for 5 segment LCD display or if it is custom made can you please share the LCD specifications.
We are using bq20z655-R1 and Bq78PL116.

We are not aware of an off the shelf LCD panel. We have had a couple of customers use custom panels and we do not have the specifications for them. I can check on Monday and send the name of one of the companies who supplied them.

The panel that we have seen was manufactured by Liquid Crystal Displays (LXD) in North Carolina. Maybe you can contact them and they can offer it to you. www.lxdinc.com
