UCC27611 eGaN gate driver slow reach of steady state 5V/0V

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC27611

Hi,

I am currently using UCC27611 with GS66508P (from GaNSystems).

My circuit configuration is a basic synchronous buck converter. The low side Gate driver is powered by 12V supply and the high side Driver is fed through bootstrap. I checked the 12V on both and it looks fine. Also  the regulated 5V output looks OK  and is never dropping.

At 50% duty (whether the LCR filter+load are connected or not),  I noticed that the Voltage across the FET (see purple trace below) is not going all the way up to the DC rail voltage (50V yellow trace) or down to 0V. However it needed more than 40uSec to completely switch on or off. The same behavior is noticed on the Vgs of the lower FET which would take about 40usec  to go from 4.5V to 5V or from 0.6V to 0V. THIS IS MY PROBLEM.

The switching edges are in the 100Mhz range. I am using the recommended range of Gate resistance (tried 27Ohm and 47Ohm without much difference).
