Hi,

Could you tell me about TPS544C25 and TPS54420?
Does this device come in stand-alone?
Customer does not use PMBus and wants to use this IC.

And,Could you tell me your recommend ather device?
Coustomer request is Vin(max)=18V,Vout=0.8-1.2V,Iout=30A,integrate FET.

Hello,

We do not offer TPS544C25 or TPS544C20 in non-PMBus variants. It is technically possible to use these parts without PMBus though.

TPS544C25 is relatively difficult to use without PMBus configuration. Most notably, the output voltage is set by PMBus. There are only 8 pin-strap (hardware selectable) VOUT values, supported. These are shown in pg. 23, table 3 of the datasheet on the web.

TPS544C20 is a bit more friendly to non-PMBus users. Vout is set through the standard resistor divider to ground.

In both cases, you would have to be OK with the behavior described in the "Supported PMBus Commands and Default Values" of each datasheet.

As far as pin connections The PMBus pins CLK, DATA, SMBALERT should be pulled up to BP3. The ADDRx pins should be floated if PMBus operation is not being used.
