BQ24160 and Fuel Gauge IC

Hi,

As per TI's recommendation BQ24160 and BQ27530 is best combination, but due to limitation in trace width and via size i am not able to use BQ27530 BGA IC since it's pitch is 0.5mm.

I am planning to use BQ24160 battery charger IC and BQ27421-G1 fuel gauge IC combination.

Please, suggest is it possible to use above combination and connect I2C lines parallel to MCU?
