BqStudio and Win 8.1

Hello All

I am planning to use BqStudio and from the down load page it seems that it run in XP and higher but not sure if the higher includes Win 8.1 

if some one using it in Win 8.1 can confirm it runs it will be appreciated

    I know that some people have used WIN 8 using, but I do not know about WIN 8.1. I still use WIN 7, so I do not have experience using WIN 8 and above.

    Hello Tom,

    I'm using Windows 8.1 on a laptop. I installed bqStudio v1.3.45 successfully. However, when I run the program with a bq78350-R1 it recognizes my EV2400 and the gauge, but closes after seconds of operation. I'm using v1.3.45 because it's a known stable version on my Windows 7 desktop.

    I also have the old bqEVSW (v0.9.92) installed on the laptop and I'm able to read SMBus data from the same battery (bq78350-R1) using the "bq20z95 v1.50" selected target.

    Any suggestions on how to fix bqStudio?
