I'm trying power a 24~36V motor using only 2s Li or LiFe batteries. Any solutions?

Please remember that, assuming 100% efficiency, the input and output power of a DC/DC converter are equal.

Your output power is about 36V*10A=360W. So you input current will be at least 360W/5V = 72A. This would require

a very large boost converter. Also, I am not sure that your batteries can supply that much current. Please refer to the attached app note from TI for more details.

I was thinking of using couple 2s in parallel to lessen the stress. Most 4 Ahr lipo I have encountered are capable of 20C discharge. I know LTC3787 works, but it requires ridiculous amount of external components..
