Hi,

Can anyone help to suggest a single chip solution for the below spec’s.

Input :85-265 vAC

Output 1: +15vDC/500mA

Output 2: -15vDC/500mA

We checked in Web bench but it is showing ref design UCC28710 solution but only for +15v,500 mA, but we are looking for single chip solution with both +15V,-15V 500mA solution.

Note, if the rectifier is in the non-dot leg it will need to point in the opposite direction.

Hi Uma, the easiest way of doing this is to add another identical secondary winding to the transformer. For the webench schematic showing the UCC28710, the non-dot end should be connected to ground, the dot end then will give a -15V output.

Note, if the rectifier is in the non-dot leg it will need to point in the opposite direction.
