I have a customer that is migrating a VoIP phone system from PoE to PoE+. Their PoE design uses the LM5072 and is using diode rectifiers in the SR flyback topology. This design produces about 27W out of the transformer. They need to move to PoE+ and are looking at using the TPS23751 but they want to maintain the diode rectification instead of moving to mosfet to implement the SR control. Thier system is set to output only 1A and they want to keep thier current transformer. The questions are:
1. Can you implement the PoE+ design using diode rectifiers with the TPS23751?
Thanks
