My customer ask me for TPS40055 gate driver dead time spec. but I can't find these number in our datasheet.

So really need your help to provide relevant data to me.

Hi John,
In general, two reasons. One is other competitors will put this spec. in their datasheet, the other is they need to make sure there is no short through symptom happened. So please share this data to us to close this case.

I don't know what the dead time spec is (and i suspect it is not specified at all). As you may know, I look at all non-isolated e2e posts, but cannot necessarily answer all of them. Maybe someone from that product line will have it.

It is measured during production testing and is typically 80-100ns when driving a 2.2nF capacitive load and measured from the 90% point on LDRV falling (falling 10%) to 10% point (rising 10%) of HDRV rising.

There is a known issue with older (more than 3 years) TPS40055 devices. Are you seeing any issues?

currently there is no issue feedback from my customer, they just want to know our device's dead time spec.
