I need a clarification on the function of the TPS61230DRCR chip.
My assumption is the output voltage and current will remain constant regardless of input voltage. Is that correct?
from the data sheet, I am led to believe that to be true: however, when measuring the outputs of the evaluation board, I see them fluctuate with changes to input voltage.
The plan is to use the chip to power a single LED, 3.4fv @ 0.7amps. Power source is a Li-Ion, so voltage will vary from 4.2 to 2.7.
If there is a better chip for this function, please advise.
