GaN Driver which can support faster switching period than 10ns?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5113

Hi all,

I'm an Applications Engineer from TI Freising and I have a request from a customer about a GaN Driver that they currently have: the LM5113.

They are wondering if there is anything in the GaN Driver range that can have shorter pulse widths than the product he currently has. I have already checked on TI's product finder and there is nothing with a shorter pulse width of 10ns.

So instead of coming back to the customer empty-handed, I was wondering if there is anything that TI is developing that is

a) faster?

b) the customer can sample?

Thanks,

Cam

  • All of our current GaN drivers that are available can be viewed here.  We also offer the LMG5200, which has improved driver performance since it is optimized for the copackaged GaN FET and has smaller time delaying parasitics since it is placed closer to the GaN FET than a discrete solution would allow.
