Do the BQ24297 need Bus-SW?

Hi team,

I have a question about BQ24297.

BQ24297 is possible for detection the BC1.2 (SDP, CDP and DCP) based on the status on D+/D- lines of the host.
Do the BQ24297 need the bus SW like a following BD?

Can you be more specific on what is "Bus SW" and "BD"?

Sorry, I attached Block Diagram.

This SW is Intel recommended for Cherry-trail using BQ24297. However I think the used Bus-Sw is not necessary typically for this device. Is it correct at my understanding?
