Question about switching characteristics of TPS22924C

Pease let me know about 2-point below of TPS22924C.

①About Vout fall time@3.6Vin and Turn-off time@0.9Vin ,

 These spec(Typ) are written in Datasheet P5, but "TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS":P9~P10 are lower than P5.

 Which is right?

②Is there information about maximum switching characteristics?

 

【Background】

Customer requested that they want to know Max value of switching characteristics.

(Datasheet P5 spec are Typ only.)

I think that Datasheet P9~P11 means Max_value, but I found question ①. 

And, if there have information of question ②, it is best.

    In general, the fall time for our devices is dependent on the output capacitance and resistance.  We spec our timing parameters with an output capacitance of 0.1uF and output resistance of 10Ω.  Therefore, the fall times observed are dependent on the amount of time it takes to discharge that capacitance through the resistance.

    To answer your questions:

    1) Both are correct.  The typical spec listed in the datasheet is the average switching time observed at 25C across all the units which were tested.  The datasheet graphs show the average values observed over a smaller sample of units.  While the datasheet graphs and typical characteristics don't match completely, they are still within the same range.  The purpose of the graphs is to show the trend seen in the switching characteristics as temperature changes.

    2) We only provide typical numbers in our datasheet and do not have guaranteed maximum specs.  This is because it is difficult to accurately predict the variation in process and manufacturing which may change our timing specs.
