Is TLC5954 PWM driver? not, right?

I saw on several site that TLC5954 is a ES-PWM LED driver, for example:

you can see that tlc5954 is a featured led driver and say "48 Channel, 16 Bit ES-PWM, LED Driver with Pre-Charge FET, LED Open Detection and 48k Bit Memory"

I don't found on datasheet their 48Kbit memory neither GKCL signal neither PWM blocks, so it is a mistake right?

I can see that TLC5954 is almost pin compatible with TLC5958 (with pwm capability), so I can design a controller board with two functions, ON/OFF driver (mounting TLC5954) and PWM driver mounting TLC5958. I see that there is 3 signals that must be take care for differences...
