I selected the TPS62065DSG integrated switcher. The startup simulation looks good but the steady state and transients are not in regulation. I did not spend time adjusting components. A bode plot was not an option in the simulation list.

My intent was to point out that your simulations are not working or the design Webench is generating is unstable. I'll just use a different part that doesn't have these issues.

Ah, we misunderstood your question. I put your values into Webench and get this load transient response. Is this what you are referring to?

You should be able to post your entire Webench design. I have asked one of the Webench team to comment on this.

But I would recommend a different, newer device anyways. For example, the TPS62085 is in the same size package but give you more current, higher efficiency, and better transient response and stability. Did you have other specific design requirements?

That looks like what I was seeing. Even steady state was unstable. I already went with a different part and have moved on to other stuff.
