about graph of UCC28061

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28061, UCC38050, UCC28180

Hello

I had question from customer about the "Ripple Current Reduction" graph of UCC28061.
Which is "capacitor ripple current" value, the actual measurement data or the calculated value?

If it's the actual measurement data, please teach me the measurement condition we can understand data's detail.
If it's the calculated value, please teach me calculating process.

Best regards,
Mitsuo Hirata

  • The first page in all of TI's data sheets are meant to highlight the parts unique features and showcase the advantages over prior ic controllers.
The graph in question shows the relative reduction in capacitor ripple current between a single phase TM controller (such as the UCC38050), a single phase CCM controller(such as the UCC28180) and the dual phase UCC28061.
The values of ripple current are calculated.
The process for calculating the ripple can be deduced from the three data sheets or by the calculator tools associated with each part.
