RSOC vs ASOC, what's the difference?

What's the difference between relative state of charge and absolute state of charge? I can't find an explanation anywhere in the TRM or datasheet.

    RSOC = Remaining Capacity / FCC
    ASOC = Remaining Capacity / Design Capacity

    RSOC will continue to transition from 0% to 100% as the pack learns. FCC continues to decrease as the pack ages.
    ASOC will eventually not be able to reach 100%, because the Design Capacity never changes. RM will continue to decrease as the pack ages.
