REQUIRED LDO

Helloo....

Please suggest an LDO for the below mentioned spec.

Required Vout - 14.5V

Input Range - 16V - 36V (Input voltage will fall to 12V for 30sec, During this time device should give at least 12V output)

Output current - 100mA

Package - SOIC / SOT / DPAK.

Kindly suggest a part which can achieve the spec as mentioned above. Pls do the needful at the earliest. Its urgent.

You mentioned that it will need to regulate at 12V when the input drops to 12V. You definitely have to consider the dropout voltage of the LDO when using for this type of application. The LDO's here have dropouts greater than 1V, and I am not sure if that will fit your specification.

Have you considered using a Buck converter? We have a number of options that you could consider for this type of application and will be much more efficient under conditions where you are dropping the voltage >20V or if automotive qualification is important to you:
