The label on the box says that the date code should be 1519, but I can't verify on the chip itself. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Joe,

The date code on the topside marking for this device is in Year Month format. In your case it is the 55 in the third line. This corresponds with May 2015 and matches your provided 1519 from the box label.
