is there any suggestion for how to start bq24157s factory mode? following is our steps:

1. power on,CD PIN default low.
2. Set REG 05H = 0x40
but BAT PIN no output

PS: other function is OK, except factory mode,

thanks for reply, yes, battery is removed.

but after above steps, manuel set Register 01H B7B6 to 11, the problem is solved. why need manuel set 01H B7B6? it should autoset after REG 05H = 0x40 thrgouh SPEC factory mode's description

Hi Zhang,

Datasheet says cycle-by-cycle HS current limit threshold is doubled from 2.4A to 4.8A.
The input current limit disable (REG01[7:6] to 11) has to be manually set.
