Hi Everyone,

I understand that bq25892 integrate type III compensation network so there is limitation to choose LC component value. I found that you recommend 1-μH and minimum of 20-μF output capacitor in datasheet. Now I'd like to know the limitation when other inductor value will be used. Actually our customer plan to use with following values that is designed by bq2859x calculation tool.

2.2uH is the maximum inductance that we recommend. What is the end application? Which 4.70uH inductor, capable of 4A is being considered?

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your response.

I'll ask if they can accept 2.2uH instead of 4.7uH. They choose 4.7uH because they want to have lower inductor current.

In case of 2.2uH, is the limitation of Csys still minimum of 20-μF? And is there no maximum limit?
