TPS23753, how to shutdowm the device

Dear Specialists,

MY customer is considering TPS23753 and has a question.

Could you please advise?

He wants to know how to shutdown the device.

When the OVP condition is happened, it must be shutdown.

According to the datasheet, Vc pin has a UVLO function, so is it possible to use for shutdown pin?   

Also, can the control pin use for the on/off function?

Are there the other way?

    Hello,

    For the shutdown, do you only want to turn off the dc/dc converter or also turn off the PD MOSFET which connects the PSE to the PD? And, where is the OVP detected (dc/dc output or at the PSE input voltage)?

    For the dc/dc converter output, you can detect OVP and then by using the feedback opto-isolator pull the CTL pin low thereby turning off the dc/dc (momentarily until the output OVP goes away).
