Pulse/ Transient Current Measurement Circuit

Hi,

I am designing a circuit for current consumption measurement of portable devices. The circuit comprises an adjustable linear regulator and current sensing circuitry. I want to use the current measurement resistors in such a way that they Burden voltage drop across them is compensated and the Vo supplied to the Device Under Test don't undergo a voltage sag when supplying current. See the circuit below:

My question is that will there be any effect on the regulation performance of the linear regulator in this circuit due to added series current sense resistors?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks.
