using BQ34z100-G1 only for discharge

I use a fuel gauge bq34z100-g1. The battery is disconnected from the fuel gauge to be in charge. The fuel gauge will see only discharges. No furthermore, that will never be the same battery which will be connected. While a battery will be connected on the fuel gauge, the second will charged. What will be the impact of such a behavior on the fuel gauge?

    The gauge can run an FCC measurement, based on an OCV reading, after it has been attached to the battery. It will run an FCC estimate that can be used for the discharge. There will not be any learning in the pack, but it does not look like you care. The battery should be well rested after the charge before it is attached to the device.
