i am using tps40054 ic
spec
input 30v to 35v
output 24v 12A
PROBLEM
when ever i am giving input the ic getting heat up, and some sounds also coming but output of 24V is getting ,the problem is with the heating up of ic and the sound.2 times the ic got heat up and broke
testing procedure
input 30v to 35v
injput current 3A
Output voltage 24v
load connected 2.3A
I designed the circuit for 12A but for 2.3A itself the ic is getting heated like anything
