LM5175 efficacity in multi purpose power supply design

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5175

Hi,

I'm making a variable power supply rail that can be use in light load application and high current application.

I check some evaluation board using the LM5175 and I were interested by all their spec.

In my application, I use a 16V  for Vin coming from a bridge rectifier.

I need to have a variable Vout that goes from 1.8V to 28 V (using a potentiometer analog and/or digital on RFB2).

The output current should change from 50mA or 100mA to 7A.

Base on the quickstart calculator, it seems to be realistic using a 3.3uH coil.

But will it be able to meet those requirement in real world?

Thanks
