bq34z100-G1: Improve Remaining Capacity

Hi,

I find some informations in bq34z100-GA Data-sheet and (slua664) but I don't have detailed explanation for choose values of parameters Load Select and Load Mode

My application has pulsed current between 45 to 510 ms

Do you have more explanation for choose value of parameters?

And what is the configurable method make by User Rate ?

  • The gauge accumulates charge over a 1s period and then performs a conversion. Pulsed loads will be filtered by the accumulator, but they will still contribute to passed charge. We usually recommend using Load Select = 0 and Load Mode = 0 for pulsed loads. User Rate can also be used to allow you to tweak the current to adjust the capacity simulation.
