diffence between LM341 and LM78MXX

Hello,

Could you please let me know the difference between LM341 and LM78MXX?

These devices datasheet is same and I couldn't find any difference in specification. The difference only part number and approx. pice.
If there is no difference, please let me know the reason that these part numbers and price are difference.

    Hi Ryuji san,

    Both LM341 and LM78Mxx are the exact same part. The two part numbers exist for historic reasons as different companies had different part numbers they launched 30 years ago and they stuck. some people have LM341 on their BOM while some have LM78M05. hence the two parts.
