hi everyone, i am using the battery charging ic BQ24030 to charge the li ion battery but it's not charging the battery. I am unable to find the fault in the circuit the circuit diagram i attached below. pls help me someone

    pls assume that nothing is connected to OUT pins in the circuit that is the reason i didn't mention those pins in the diagram

    What is your charging requirements? It seems like you are using USB input only. and you are not using power path. The bq24030 might not be the best fit to your application. 

    What is your connection on ISET2? The ISET2 pin sets up the fast charging current for USB port.

    What is the status on /USBPG? what is the voltage on the battery. Are your using a real battery for testing? What is the voltage on TS? There are a lot of possibility can lead to no charge. Please refer to the datasheet for the operation of the IC.

    You can also refer to he user's guide for the schematic as a reference. 

    Again, from your schematic, i do not think you are using the IC fits your application.

    Sorry i forgot to add ISET2 pin in the diagram...here is the modified diagram and i didn't check the status on USBPG or ACPG as i didn't connect any LED over there, yes i have BL-5C battery with me that only i used for testing purpose.1526.bat_charger.pdf
