Does the IT Enable Bit must be set in Golden Image File for Production

Hello,

i will use the bq27510. The Learning Cycle in the bqStudio Software was ok. In the End of this i have make an Golden Image File with this Tool. After this i see that the IT Enable Bit is still set. In the old TI Software the IT-Bit is cleared when i make an Golden Image File for Production.

Which behavior is now correct? Must the IT-Enable be Set in the Production File?

Hi there,
It's ok to have IT enable bit set in your golden file. There are no lifetime parameters on the bq27510 device . The lifetime parameters are the reason why IT enable is recommended not to be set on pack side gauges so those don't update while lab testing is still being done on the device. For system side gauges IT enable can remain set and the bq27510 is a system side gauge.
