Read charging current from bq24295

Hi,

I configured bq24295 as below.

When I used a 5V/2A adapter, the charging current is read as 995mA ;

When I used a 5V/1A adapter, the charging current is read as 810mA ;

When I used another 5V/1A adapter, the charging current is read as 505mA .

Could you help analyze why the value changed? It seems the configuration changed by itself after I changed the adapter.

    Hi Di,

    The settings change because the device auto-detects the input source through D+/D- whenever a different charger is plugged in.

    What are the readings in REG08 in each case? From the info you provide, looks like charger #3 cannot be detected as DCP and so it limits the current. You should check the D+/D- connections on the charger.
