TLC5926 Leakage

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5926

TLC5926 leakage spec is around 1uA at 17v and 125c – 17v is the maximum VDS of the FET and leakage will be highest at that point. This will illuminate a RED LED . The highest voltage we could see in the off state is around. I’m hoping at 125c and a VDS of 3v the leakage will be a round 100nA which cannot light the LED. Can you tell me what leakage will be at 3.5v and 125c?

  • Hi John,

For our datasheets, we use the max and min values to ensure that over all the TLC5926 devices we make and all of the FETs created for the channels, the part will never be outside the spec. If the 100nA is a critical spec, I would need to know more about the setup in order to suggest using the part.
