I got pulled away from battery testing, so the pack I was trying to do a learning cycle on sat for more than a month unattached to anything. Today I connected it to bqStudio to download the srec, and noticed that both CHG & DSG FET's were off (XCHG & XDSG are set).
I cannot find any error conditions that would cause this (bqStudio screenshot below), so I'm wondering how this would work in a real world situation where we pull a battery off the production shelf and install it in a system to be shipped.
