BQ Studio Not staying connected to the Computer

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ78350, BQ76930EVM, BQ76930
I do not get any error messages I have to keep pushing the Boot button on the EV board in order to connect to the system. I am able to program the board momentarily but it will not stay connected and there is no error messages. While trying to use a voltmeter to check the board I am having issues for the Pack-/Pack+ terminals as I am not able to get the full voltage output on the EVBQ76930 board. There is  like a 6 volt drop here from the battery+/Battery- to the Pack+/Pack-. Is there a setting inside the program to fix this issue at all? I thought it might be that my cell configuration is wrong as I am trying to set the system up for a 7 cell series but the program will not stay connected long enough for me to try to troubleshoot.

Have you verified that the device is booting up as shown in the waveforms in Figure 11 from the bq78350 datasheet? Are you working with the TI EVM or your own design? Have you tried downloading the bq76930EVM Evaluation Software from the bq76930EVM website? It will allow you to communicate directly to the bq76930 without the bq78350. You can read the voltage registers directly.
