My Customer has questions about TPS74801.Please cooperate.

Will the Load capacitor of about 2000uF.

Also, is this Device is possible to add how much max output Load capacitor?

    Hello T Kishi,

    That is a relatively higher amount of capacitance than we usually use with our LDOs, what are you trying to achieve?

    Regarding Question 1:

    Even though the device might be stable, there are other issues that might arise from using such a big capacitor such Inrush current and longer than usual VOUT rise time.

    Regarding Question 2:

    If you a referring to the sequencing of VBIAS, as the datasheet specifies "VIN, VBIAS, and VEN can be sequenced in any order without causing damage to the device. However, for the soft-start function to work as intended, certain sequencing rules must be applied."

    If you are referring to biasing your VOUT with a higher voltage it would not be recommended because this device does not have reverse current protection, however, you can add external diodes to accomplish this function.
