Hello,
I have a question about TPS92630-Q1.
About a connection of three LEDs and lighting up.

1. Is the following status right?

Connecting LED      | Lighting Status        |  Comment
LED1  LED2  LED3 | LED1  LED2  LED3 |
Open  Open  Open | Off       Off      Off     |  As expected
Short  Open  Open | Off       Off      Off     |  LED1 is moment lighting up.
Open  Short  Open | Off       Off      Off     |  LED2 is moment lighting up.
Short  Short  Open | Off       Off      Off     |  LED1 & LED2 are moment lighting up.
Open  Open  Short | Off       Off      Off     |  LED3 is not lighting up.
Short  Open  Short | Off       Off      Off     |  LED1 is moment lighting up.
Open  Short  Short | Off       Off      Off     |  LED2 is moment lighting up.
Short  Short  Short | On       On      On     |  As expected

2.When connecting of optional LED short, is there a way to LED light up?
  ex) Connecting LED Lighting Status
   LED1  LED2 LED3 LED1 LED2 LED3
Short    Open Open ⇒ On Off     Off

  • 1,Basically when LED is in short state , the short LED channel will not light up. When fault pin is floating, when there is short fault all channels will be turned off. Detailed please refer to the Table 1 Fault table in the datasheet.
2, Short channel can't be turned on in TPS92630-Q1.

May I know the application of this case? What is requirement?
