Hi,

I took a BQ33100 demo board and cant bring it to work

There is for the the trial 5 supercaps connected (default config for demo board). I have

CB Threshold 1000mV

CB Min 10mV

CB restart 10mV

I want to enable the capacitor (I'm not sure on the next) by writting the "manufacturer access" with "0021" and then "1"(scan disabled) then i click refresh and see "3100". The reading give me back the "0000"

But dont see any balancing and I feel a bit blind bec I dont understand how can I read the "Balancing Enable" field. I tried to play with some other parameters but it doesnt change.

Can you please help me?

    Hi Florent 

    I have sent you a friend request so you can reach me directly with your question on using this device. The device can balance but you will need to ensure that the lt_en flag is set. This enables life time data functionality. Are your capacitor voltages above the CB threshold of 1000mV.  the device only balances during charging so ensure you have your charger connected.
