BQ24171RGYR Battery charger issue

Hi,

In BQ24171RGYR Battery charger IC internal architecture SW output (pin 1) to PVCC supply (pin 2)  N channel MOSFET with Body diode is connected internally.

Will this impact the Battery charger  working?? Please guide this to resolve this issue.

    I'm not sure I understand the question. The body diode is part of the internal high-side MOSFET that is used in the switch mode power supply. What is your concern?

    Hi ,
    Thanks for your reply. My problem is whenever battery charger input DC supply failure. I have output control option in my battry charger ic SW pin( BAT_DRV pin going to drive the output external MOSFET ). But here without my control( means without output external MOSFET ) my load is enabled via VBAT to PVCC( through pin1 & pin2 internal MOSFET body diode) .Please guide me for this issue.Thanks in advance.
