Does anybody know if I can just directly connect IOUT of the PTD modules (e.g. PTD08A010W or PTD08A006W) to UCD9240. The simple schematic in the datasheet shows a direct connection, but I couldn't find any reference design doing this. Most reference designs don't use IOUT, but use their own current sensing. I just need the IOUT for informational reasons, so no need for high precision.
Do I need to filter IOUT in any way or is it already filtered on the module?Any reference design doing this?
