Regarding TPS23753A and TPS23754 ESD(EOS) Performance

Hi Team,

One of my customer Samsung Techwin(changed name to Hanwha Techwin) is asking the ESD(and EOS) performance between TPS23753A and TPS23754.

They said TPS23753A has shown very good EOS performance than other competitor's device and TPS23754 has the same HBM/CDM/ESD value on the datasheet.

Customer is asking TPS23754 has the same internal ESD network as TPS23753A? and if it has the ESD or EOS test result of both device, can it open?

If it's hard to open the test result, can customer get the data very briefly?

    Hi Lenny,

    I'm currently looking this up and will let you know if we have a detailed answer. Note it may be proprietary information that we cannot share with customer.

    At a high level, the TPS23754 underwent the same ESD testing as the TPS23753A so the fact that it is also rated similar to TPS23753A shows the robustness of the TPS23754.

    Thanks for your response.

    As you said, we can say that the specification of the ESD related data were same but customer would like know know that some more detail about TPS23754's performance. 

    Could you please let customer know TPS23754 has almost same ESD protection architecture or...that showed the better or same or worse test result than TPS23753A?
