get 3.3v from 3 x AA battery

Hi All

In the power management mode, I try to get 3.3v from 3 x AA battery (Energizer Lithum E91). My project will drain about <10 mA in most of time due to sleeping, while consume up to 200 mA when sending data for a small amount of time.

Is there any suggestions on the choice of DC DC step down converter fixed at 3.3V output?

Hi

Can I use LM3670 ? however, the datasheet says it is suitable for one Li-ion battery or 3 NiMH/NiCd batteries. Want to know whether it can be used for 3 AA Lithium batteries like L91?

Hi

I would recommend you to use the TPS63051 buck-boost converter for your application. It has an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V with a fixed output voltage 3.3V.
