Hi,

Can anyone tell me the maximum power dissipation of TPS25910, with a load of 12V, 2.5A. The same information is needed for thermal analysis.

Hello Nandak,
As the Ron of the Internal FET of TPS25910 is 42mOhms (Max) , so at 2.5A of load current, the expected dissipation would be 2.5^2 x 0.042=262.5mW

Plesae note if the device Junction Temperature goes more than 160degC, the device enter thermal Shutdown and with 20degC hysteresis.
