I have designed a board that takes in power from 5 power supplies at 5VDC rated at 60A each and they are OR'ed together to have one output Vout at 5VDC . I attached the schematic in PDF form.
The MOSFET that I am using is an NXP PSMN0R9.
I have a light load of only 200mA applied currently, but the intended use will be many amps.
The gate voltage is in a sawtooth waveform (top waveform). I was under the impression that the gate voltage would either be on or off, and be mostly just on. This is giving me a very dirty Vout (bottom waveform) that is around 4.6V (with load) to 4.9V (no load) on a multimeter. As of right now I have the Rset resistors depopulated. Do I need to populate these? Should I use the TPS2413 instead?
