Our customer will use LM3488MMX/NOPB device.

We received as below question from our customer

 - UL Certification for LM3488MMX/NOPB??? 

 

Our customer want check that whether with UL Certification or without UL Certification of LM3488MMX/NOPB

 

Please update for above question ASAP

    UL certification applies to end user products that are sold to the general public.
    Certification ensures that the end product is free from electrical hazard, fire and over temperature.
    There are UL standards for most every product available on the market but there are no UL standards available for integrated circuits.
    The LM3488 can be use in these end products and it is the responsibility of the manufacturer to test for UL compliance.
