hi all,
I'm using a BQ24160 to charge a single-cell Li-Ion battery. I configured the BQ24160 via the PC-Tool to a Battery-Regulation-Voltag of 4.20V.
With an partly discharged cell (cell voltage is around 3,634V) I observe a charge current of approx 204mA.
Why is the charge current that low? I configured a charge current of 2050mA and disabled the charge termination and the TS function. I use a 6,5V/3A power supply at the IN-Input of the EVM.
When charging with a standalone battery charger (http://www.elv.de/elv-akku-lade-center-alc-8500-2-expert-inkl-pc-software-chargeprofessional-vierleiter-ri-messkabel-temperaturfuehler-und-usb-kabel-1-6-m.html
