I'm designing a laser driver power supply using the TPS54331. The data sheet for this part states that for Vin=12V, the current limit is set at a maximum value of 5.8A. Is there a way I can program the current limit to 2A? I want the supply to shutdown if current of more than 2A starts being drawn. If not, can you suggest an alternate part?
