Hi all.

I have a question about bq25890_2.

Now my customer uses bq2419x series with bq27531-G1.
My customer would like to use bq25890_2, please tell me how to connect to bq27531-G1.
I think that this connection method(bq25890_2) is the same as bq2419x.
If my understanding is wrong, please tell me the difference of each connection method.

Hello Sho,

Unfortunately the bq27531-G1 cannot be connected directly to the bq25890.

The bq27531-G1 will be able to provide charge current and charge voltage information to a host processor which then can be used to control the bq25890 via I2C.

Thank you for your reply.

Is my understanding the following correct?
The bq27531-G1 and bq2419x can communicate directly with I2C,
but I must control between bq27531-G1 and bq25890 using host(MCU).

Do you have reference connection circuit between bq27531-G1 and bq25890?
If you have it, please tell me the connection way.

Hello Sho,

Unfortunately the bq27531 only supports the bq2419x family
