End of Life Prediction for LM317EMP

Hi,

We are using LM317EMP in one our new designs, and I wanted to know when is this device expected to reach its End of Life.

Because we need to support the development and maintenance of our design for at-least next 5 years.

Not sure where to ask this question, since when I clicked on "support" on the product page it gave me only e2e community option. If this is not the right place to ask this question it would be great if anybody can give me a link to redirect this question to the right place.

Hi Srinivas,

As of today, there are no plans to obsolete LM317EMP/NOPB.

While TI can't make forward looking promises, typically TI does not obsolete products so long as there is consistent customer purchase activity. Currently, there is enough purchase activity on the LM317EMP/NOPB such that there is no imminent possibility of obsolescence.

Hi Srinivas,

Can you please clarify if you mean LM317EMP or LM317EMP/NOPB.

The Package Option Addendum in the datasheet states that LM317EMP/NOPB is currently active. LM317EMP/NOPB is the device I was referring to in the previous message, not LM317EMP.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the response, I was actually referring to LM317EMP, but LM317EMP/NOPB should be ok for our requirement.
However I was hoping that could you please confirm that if LM2576HVS-ADJ NOPB will also be supported for next 5 years and if not is there any suggested replacement.
